Local 391 NEGOTIATIONS UPDATE
On May 18 and 27, members of our negotiating committee met with Bethlehem School District Management. We told the District that we need our contract to include:
Fair wage increases every year of the contract! No more wage freezes!
Protect our health insurance!
Clarify procedures for filling absences in various food service programs
Allow sick time to be used for snow days and while on FMLA to care for family members
We made progress in discussing what each side wants in the contract but we still have a long way to go. Our next
meeting date is June 16th.
We must stand UNITED to get the things that we Deserve in our contract!!!!
