United Way Day of Caring

Members from the PAJB partnered with the United Way to participate in their annual Day of Caring.  More than 700 volunteers participated in various activities throughout the Lehigh Valley.  Our members painted the bathrooms at Roosevelt Elementary School in Allentown.  In addition to painting, we included inspirational sayings on the walls.

Community service is an integral part of our union. Through our CATs (Community Action Teams) members decide on what projects to work on.  Members have cleaned and outfitted transitional housing, cleaned parks, raised money for cancer research, collected food, and more.  If you are interested in becoming involved, please contact your business agent or Chris Miller.
