Once a month the Allentown CAT team meet to organize and plan new projects to work on in their community.

During the January meeting, Susie Beller a union member in the Allentown School District brought a great idea to the table.  Love-A-Vet.  Her idea was to collect socks for veternan and dontate them in February around Valentines Day.

A flyer was constructed and distributed in our shops in Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton as well as in the community.

The team collected over 400 paris of socks as well as approximalty 50 new t-shirts to donate to the US Department of Veterens Affairs  clinic in Allentown.

Thomas Gonzalez, Social Workers at the clinic met the team and stated that the socks will be given to the homeless when he travels in the community. He welcomed the donations with much graditude.
