Our 1st stop was Zabar’s Gourmet Store.  This emporium specialized in smoked fish, caviar, coffee, cheese, kitchen goods and house-ware.  The olives were amazing, they had barrels of them right in the front window to taste test.

Our next stop was Chelsea Market where we enjoyed lunch.  Chelsea Market is an indoor marketplace renowned for it’s wide range of grocers as well as shops and eateries.

From there we headed to Greenwich Village Bleeckers Street.  Long known as a mecca of painters and poets.  Greenwhich Village has shopping, Resturant Row, which consists of Rocco’s Italian Bakery, Mollies Cupcakes, Sweet Revenge to name a few.
